Music

Our life is a movie without a soundtrack. So we create one. Unfortunately, it's never sold in any record stores. So it goes unheard. Just like our lives at times.

Somehow the smile has changed, the talk has changed and the actions, well, they aren't even mine any more. May be I just walked into someone else's life. There were these people, who brought melody with them, I guess I just miss them. They are still here alright, but even they have estranged themselves for their real selves, I guess. I can't judge their happiness, I can only speak for myself. And I'm not happy, I'm not happy to have lost music. It does come back once in a while, just for a few moments, but fades away as fast. And then, all that is left is this errie silence, a dark room and an empty feeling.

I know what can bring it all back; it's all very obvious, to me and to everyone, but I guess, we all are just too busy with our lives to notice how silence has filled us all.

Sometimes people need the silence so that they don't deafen themselves and others by the cacophony that fills our lives at times... The music will come back if it was meant to be part of your life and its up to you to decide if it was in the first place...

Love you :)

Bhai Bhen ka pyar dekh ke mujhe Ramanand Sagar ke Mahabharat Ka woh episode yaad aaya...

Jokes apart, you need some blues rock, some stoner and then some psychedelia. It helps. It helps me.

Absolutely ... This is perhaps exactly how my thoughts have been today! I crave for that music to start again, but unfortunately I guess its you who has to get the guitars to strum again! Sometimes the materialistic aspect of life drains you to the extent that yu fail to hear those sounds, which fade away slowly.

@snehal: i gotta give myself time rather

@ghost rider: we're just all lost souls swimming in a fish bowl.. year after year.. running over the same ol' grounds, have we found, the same ol' fears :P

"slowly fades away".. thats the part i'm scared of.. it should not.. never.. i'll really kill myself the day it dies in me.. when the music's over.. turn out the lights :P

Hello there,

Do check this link. A guy who thinks he's ultra smart has copied your post word-to-word. http://saipras2000.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html.

Reason why I bother to tell you? I discovered he had copied my blog title and description word to word and then I had the obvious suspicion that his posts must all be 'borrowed' ones too. A bloke who copies the blog title would simply not be capable of writing such cool posts himself. :-) Do you think we can join hands and do something about this? And, oh ya, he has very cleverly disabled comment entries.

Here's the link to the post itself. The previous link was to the blog. http://saipras2000.blogspot.com/2009/10/music.html
